BINGO was excited to host the Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, the Hon Penny Sharpe MLC and EPA at Eastern Creek today at our world-class recycling centre MPC2 where they announced a co-investment of $11 million to boost recycling in NSW and another $60 million in grants to tackle plastics waste.
BINGO welcomes support for the development of advanced recycling infrastructure to ensure more waste is diverted from landfill. We also support the Ministers’ proposal to help create sustainable markets for recycled products by mandating the use of recycled products in government funded projects.
BINGO diverts PVC waste from landfill through our long-term partnership with Vinidex. BINGO supplies waste Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) to Vinidex to remanufacture PVC pipes - a great example of how industries can work together to achieve sustainable, circular outcomes. Vinidex has previously received a grant through the RMF program.
