BINGO publishes 2024 Modern Slavery Statement

BINGO acknowledges that human rights are universal and fundamental rights, freedoms and standards to which all people are entitled. We recognise that respecting and promoting human rights is integral to our social licence to operate and that the commercial viability of our business

will only continue in a society where human rights are upheld and promoted.

BINGO is proud to present our Modern Slavery Statement for 2024. This is our fifth Modern Slavery Statement and we are continuing to make improvements each year to reduce our modern slavery risks within our supply chain.

BINGO spent $247m in FY24 with more than 1,333 suppliers and we are pleased to report that we did not identify any instances of modern slavery in our business or across our supply chain in FY24

During the year we continued our focus on the implementation of best-practice sustainable supply chain management and ensuring that all our procurement activities address the risk of modern slavery. Central to this has been the rollout of our supplier self-assessments, with nearly 600 assessments completed to date. Our priority has been to assess our high-spend and high-risk existing suppliers and all new suppliers.

We provide GOgetters with modern slavery training with a particular focus on our procurement and business enablement teams. This training and the continued development of our staff has helped embed awareness of the risks of modern slavery across our business.

Every two years we have a third party undertake an independent review of our alignment with the international standard for Sustainable Procurement, ISO 20400:2017. For FY24 Edge Impact determined we achieved a performance score of 93%, up from 82% in FY22.

Since its inception, BINGO’s modern slavery risk assessment program has engaged specialist social due diligence auditor, Precision Solutions Group (PSG), to undertake both site and desktop audits to assess our suppliers’ modern slavery risks. In FY24 PSG undertook a modern slavery compliance audit of a high-risk supplier, a facilities management service provider. No human rights abuses were identified during this audit, and the likelihood that human rights abuses are occurring within the audited organisation was assessed as unlikely.

We remain committed to continuous improvement and transparency on the progress of our actions related to modern slavery, and we aim to continue to lead positive change in our industry.
