Times are tough for many Australians at the moment as the cost of living crisis continues to tighten its grip on household budgets. To make ends meet, people are sacrificing meals, health care, or heating, yet in many cases it’s still not enough.
Last week, a team from BINGO had the opportunity to step up to support the Salvation Army Western Sydney Winter Appeal, to help the Salvation Army raise much needed funds to continue the vital work they do in our Western Sydney communities.
“This event is a great example of community and business leaders coming together to raise funds for an important cause benefitting our local communities in Western Sydney,” said Rommel Varghese, Head of Public Affairs and a Member of the Salvation Army Western Sydney Fundraising Committee.
“So far, we've raised $130,000 but we welcome more donations until the end of the month, to be able to help as many people as possible.”
