BINGO General Manager Strategy and Investor Relations Tara Osborne named BOSS Young Executive for 2021
Congratulations to Tara Osborne, General Manager Strategy and Investor Relations on being named a BOSS Young Executive for 2021.
As part of the Australian Financial Review’s BOSS Magazine Young Executives program, Tara was one of 10 finalists selected from over 250 applications, chosen to take part in a day-long simulation of a day in the life of a CEO.
“It is a real honour to be named as a BOSS Young Executive. What an incredible experience and talented group of professionals,” Tara said.
Following the exercise Tara was one of six participants who were selected by a panel of high-profile leaders as BOSS Young Executives for 2021.
Tara has been at BINGO for over four years now and has seen the company through its IPO and several large acquisitions. She has been an important part of the leadership team and BINGO’s recent success.
“I came from a banking background, I never thought I would be working at a place like BINGO. But I love my job and I love working for a company like this that has sustainability at its heart.” Tara said.
“Some people say I am young for a General Manager. But that is the great thing about working at BINGO, we are a growth company offering opportunities for our people to grow and develop, rise to new challenge and experience supportive success,” she said.
“I’ve had a lot of incredible leaders in my career who have been a big part of my success, in particular BINGO CFO Chris Jeffrey and CEO Daniel Tartak have been huge supporters of my career growth here at BINGO,” Tara said.
BINGO’s Chief Financial Officer Chris Jeffrey has worked with Tara for many years now and says this is well-earned recognition.
“It has been a real pleasure to be a part of Tara’s career. Her hard work and dedication to her role and to our company have been a key ingredient to BINGO’s success and I couldn’t be prouder to have her as a member of my team,” Chris said.
“At the age of 28, Tara took on the challenge of being a General Manager at BINGO, which most would say is too young. But BINGO has provided some great opportunities and challenges for Tara, which she has risen to every time,” he said.
