Deep Blue 2018 Raises $706,000 For McGrath Foundation & Cancer Council!

Highlights

BINGO Fundraising was established to help make a difference to individuals and their families affected by cancer.

In support of their two chosen charities, McGrath Foundation and Cancer Council, BINGO Fundraising hosts a biennial charity gala to raise funds, awareness and increased support for causes that are close to all of our hearts.

Deep Blue 2018

Deep Blue 2018 was held on 1 June 2018 at Doltone House Australian Technology Park and was a magical evening of entertainment, guest appearances and moving speeches.

Guests were treated to aerial performances and an intimate concert by the very talented singer/songwriter, Delta Goodrem. Through live and silent auctions, as well as the abundant support of BINGO’s partners, clients, suppliers, investors and other stakeholders, BINGO set a record-breaking benchmark, and one we are proud to share.

The total amount raised on the evening was an incredible $706,000, which was equally split amongst McGrath Foundation and Cancer Council – a total of $353,000 each.

On 29th June 2018 BINGO announced the much-anticipated result at their head office, with representatives from each organisation accepting the donation with much gratitude.

With Cancer Council being 95% community-funded and McGrath Breast Care Nurses being recruited in growing numbers, these funds will be allocated towards providing aid to patients, carers and their families who are dealing with the impacts of cancer.

“We feel humbled and grateful to everyone for their support, contributions and efforts in making the night such a remarkable success,” said BINGO INDUSTRIES Managing Director and CEO, Daniel Tartak.

Mr. Tartak went on to say that the main highlight of the evening was, “to witness so many members of the BINGO Family and our suppliers in attendance and in unity for a great cause”.

The management and team at BINGO INDUSTRIES would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to all who were a part of the event, and continue to support our initiatives.

We are proud to see we are making a remarkable difference, and this would not be possible without the kindness and generosity of our staff, partners, donors and the community.
