Following last month’s successful Illawarra Convoy, the team at Bingo Industries were extremely excited to see the efforts of the initiative spread throughout the community, making a difference to the lives of those in need.
One particular case that touched us was with Ryder Creamer, from Berkeley in NSW. Earlier this year, Ryder was diagnosed with a lung tumour at the age of four, dramatically changing his life and the lives of his family members.
After submitting an application for support by the Illawarra Community Foundation, Ryder’s family was granted assistance. Bingo Industries proudly contributed by presenting food and fuel vouchers to the family. We believe in making a difference in the lives of people in the communities we work and live in. As we continue to grow, so too does our responsibility to give back in the best way we can.
Ryder’s story was one of many we have been a part of and this feeling of involvement in making a difference is a feeling like no other. The Illawarra Convoy was one of a few local community fundraising events we took part in this year. Read more about it here.
