Council permits in NSW
If you’re in New South Wales and plan to put a skip bin on your own private property you don’t need to apply for a permit. However, if your skip is going on the street or public property, a council permit may be required, and restrictions including where, when and how long you can place a skip may apply. BINGO is an approved provider in some councils. For more information read below

BINGO is registered with Blacktown Council to place skip bins on council controlled roads. The skip bin cannot be placed where signs indicate kerbside parking restrictions and must comply with all other applicable road rules. For more information please refer to your local council.

BINGO is licensed with Woollahra Council and we are permitted to place skip bins on the roadway in approved locations. Skip bins are not to be placed in Council's parks and reserves or on footpaths without additional written approval from the council. For more information, please refer to your local council.

In the Inner West Council both the operator and hirer of the skip bin must obtain a permit. BINGO is licensed to place skip bins on public roads in the Inner West Council. As the hirer of the skip bin you are also required to obtain a permit from the Inner West Council if placing a skip on public roads. For more information please contact the Inner West Council.

If you’re in NSW or surrounding councils and do not reside in one of the other areas and plan to put a skip on the street or on the nature strip, a council permit may be required. Please contact your local council for more information.
Council permits in Victoria
If you’re in Melbourne or surrounding suburbs in Victoria and plan to put a skip bin on your own private property you don’t need to apply for a council permit. However if your skip is going on the street or on the nature strip, a council permit may be required. We will organise a permit for you when you book a bin with us.
Council permits in Queensland
If you're in Queensland and planning to place a skip bin on your private property, you don't need to worry about a permit. However, if the bin will be on the street or public property, a council permit may be required. Councils may have specific rules about where, when, and how long you can keep the skip in public areas. It’s up to the hirer to ensure they understand and comply with these regulations. and obtain any necessary permits.
