Over the past decade, Bingo Industries has evolved from being a small, family owned and operated waste management business into a highly professional corporate operation. As part of this success we as a business driven by our passion sought to give back. Collectively as an organisation the obligation to act for the benefit of society at large and to give back to charities that are close to our heart through personal experience is embedded in our culture. The question was simple – How do we give back?
Bingo Industries’ CEO Daniel Tartak said “When you strive to be the best, you create a buzz; we call it ‘The Bingo Buzz’. I have it and my team has it. It is that authenticity which comes from your people and it’s real. It becomes very contagious. Others outside your organisation recognise it and want to be a part of it. You naturally attract good people who want to work with you and this brings out the best in your suppliers, partnerships, and alliances.”
It was through the above philosophy that pushed our social responsibility initiative and Bingo Fundraising was born. By establishing this division, it allowed us to align the goals we have in fundraising to our business and the extended Bingo Family to really make a difference in cancer awareness and research.
The result is an unrivalled passion to give back. The following are examples of this passion at work:
• Pink Truck 1 in support of McGrath Foundation
• Pink Truck 2 in support of Cancer Council NSW
• Magical Memories 2014 Fundraising Event - raised $144,000
• Paradise Garden 2016 Fundraising Event - raised $302,000
