Recycling innovation

Delivering innovations that unlock new products and services

We’re focused on innovating to help our industry provide the services that can transform problematic waste streams into sustainable products and solutions.

We aim to be ahead of the game, investing in the latest technology to take advantage of new opportunities that arise from emerging trends and challenges facing our industry. For example the growing demand for smarter, more sustainable, digitalised and accessible recycling and waste solutions is pushing our industry to evolve.

Using cutting-edge technology to improve customer recycling rates

BINGO owns and operates the world’s largest and most advanced dry mixed waste recycling facility at its Eastern Creek Recycling Ecology Park in Western Sydney. Fitted with some of the world’s most advanced resource recovery and manufacturing technology, when fully operational the $120 million plant will be capable of diverting approximately 85% of materials from landfill. Construction of the facility has been supported by a $5 million grant from the NSW Environmental Trust as part of the NSW Government’s Waste Less, Recycle More initiative funded from the waste levy.

Manufacturing recycled product

BINGO’s competitively priced Eco Product range is manufactured from the materials collected at our recycling centres and includes high-quality building and landscaping supplies.

We are constantly innovating to develop new ways to take what was once destined for landfill and re-make it into new valuable building and landscaping products.

Our investment in recycling technology is helping Australia move towards a circular economy.

BINGO means more

BINGO recovered 738,974 tonnes of brick, sand, concrete and soil last year, which saves landfills 260 Olympic swimming pools worth of waste.
