BINGO story

The BINGO journey

We’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings as a small family-owned skip bin business in Western Sydney. BINGO has grown to become a fully-integrated recycling and waste management company with operations across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. Following an expansion into the Commercial and Industrial Market in 2014, our acquisition of TORO waste company in 2015, and United Waste Services in South East Queensland in 2022, BINGO has grown to provide numbered waste solutions for all business and individuals, including collection, processing and recovery, disposal and manufacturing. We are investing in the future in more ways than one, we have Materials Processing Centre 2 (MPC 2), now one of the world's largest and most advanced recycling centres of its type fully operational at our Eastern Creek Recycling Ecology Park and our Patons Lane Resource Recovery Centre is set to commence operations in mid-2024 with its sophisticated onsite water treatment technology, enabling the washing of contaminated landfill material and the recovery of clean, washed products.

The history of BINGO Industries

The founding of BINGO bins
BINGO Bins’ humble begining came in 2005 when the Tartak family bought a building and demolition skip business in Western Sydney. Back then the business was simple, running four trucks and 100 bins, but the family had big plans.
Expanding our services

Over the next 10 years BINGO Bins expanded its service offering to include the commercial and industrial market and several recycling centres.

Thanks to hard work and a commitment to sustainability, BINGO has gone from strength to strength, launching in Victoria in 2017 and Queensland in 2022.

From BINGO Bins to BINGO Industries

In 2018 BINGO announced its vision to create a waste-free Australia. Then in 2021 BINGO opened one of the world’s largest and most advanced dry, mix-waste recycling facility at Eastern Creek.

In 2021 BINGO Industries Limited was acquired by a consortium led by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) now known as Macquarie Assets Management (MAM).
