We take our role as environmental stewards seriously and have underpinned our beliefs and values with our unique partnership with Planet Ark and ongoing membership with the Green Building Council of Australia. BINGO is proud to support community based local programs aimed at sustaining the local environment.

Launched in 2002, the GBCA is a national, not-for-profit organisation that is committed to developing a sustainable property industry for Australia by encouraging the adoption of green building practices. It is uniquely supported by both industry and governments across the country.
BINGO is a member of the GBCA and supports their mission of developing a sustainable property industry for Australia. BINGO recognises the importance of reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill and has successfully completed many Green Star projects.

The Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) is a member-based, not-for-profit peak body operating in Australia and New Zealand with the purpose of enabling sustainability outcomes in infrastructure. ISCA maintains the IS Rating Scheme (IS) which is the only comprehensive rating system in Australia and New Zealand for evaluating sustainability across the planning, design, construction and operational phases of infrastructure programs, projects, networks and assets.

Established in 1983, the Australian Council of Recycling (ACOR) is the leading national industry association for the recycling and resource recovery sector in Australia. It represents some 50 businesses who are part of a successful $15 billion industry that employs some 50,000 Australians, and generates exceptional environmental benefits for our society. The aim of ACOR is the industry advancement of the broader resource recovery and recycling sector, a key part of the circular economy. BINGO has been involved with WCRA for several years and a BINGO representative sits on the WCRA’s Board.

The Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia (BCSD Australia) is the national peak body representing forward-thinking companies and organisations that are working towards the transition to a sustainable Australia. BCSDA’s mission is to accelerate this transition by making sustainable business more successful.
BINGO participates annually in the BCSDA’s Reporting Matters project, which assist in further improving non-financial reporting performance and helps BINGO to refine its sustainability strategy.

Launched in 2015, The Supply Chain Sustainability School is provides a free learning environment, upskilling for those working within, or aspiring to work within, the built environment sector.

The Mental Health First Aid® Workplace Recognition Program celebrates organisations across Australia who invest in developing mental health first aid skills in their people and who show a strong commitment to embedding the MHFA training into their organisation’s culture. This is achieved through actions like senior leadership support, relevant policies, supporting Mental Health First Aid Officers and continuous improvement.
