BINGO in the community

Giving back to the community

Giving back to the community is core to the BINGO family values. We proudly support two major cancer charities - the McGrath Foundation and the NSW Cancer Council. Since 2014 we have raised over $1.7 million for these charities. In 2021 and 2022 BINGO was also proud to be a major sponsors of the Cerebral Palsy Alliances STEPtember campaign.

McGrath Foundation

The McGrath Foundation raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia. They also provide greater breast cancer awareness education for young women. In support of the McGrath Foundation and to raise awareness for breast cancer, BINGO operates a fleet of pink McGrath Foundation trucks, affectionately named Rose and Mary. During the month of October 2021, BINGO raised over $24,000 for McGrath as part of our Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraising campaign.

NSW Cancer Council

The Cancer Council NSW conducts and funds world-class research and believes in a cancer free future. The Council provides support for people with cancer, their carers, family and friends, throughout their cancer journey. We have given two of our front-lift commercial waste trucks a pink makeover to show our support for this charity.

BINGO steps up again for STEPtember and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance

BINGO was proud to be the Major Sponsor of the Cerebral Palsy Alliances’ 2021 STEPtember campaign. The BINGO team put in a mammoth effort raising over $221,000 for CPA’s vital work to support people living with cerebral palsy, coming in second on the fundraising leader board.

Deep Blue 2018 Raises $706,000 for McGrath Foundation and Cancer Council

Deep Blue was held on 1 June 2018 at Doltone House, Australian Technology Park. It was a magical evening of entertainment, guest appearances and moving speeches. All guests were treated to aerial performances and an intimate concert by singer/songwriter, Delta Goodrem. Through live and silent auctions, as well as the abundant support of the community, BINGO set a record-breaking benchmark of $706,000 that was equally donated to the McGrath Foundation and Cancer Council – at a total of $353,000 each.
