The CLC provides a forum for conversation between representatives of the company, community and local council. It enables stakeholders to discuss the development of the facility, its operations, and environmental performance and it is the most appropriate forum to raise and discuss any community concerns. A key purpose of CLC’s is to share information and develop solutions collaboratively.

The following people form the Patons Lane CLC:

    • Two representatives from Patons Lane including Lee Smith, Communication and Development Manager and Diana Forrester, Community Liaison Manager,
    • Five Community Representatives including Vince Azzopardi, Richard Battersby, Mark George, Dirk Kurver, and Tony Maltese,
    • A representative from Penrith City Council, Michael Middleton, and
    • Independent Chair, Peter Gordon.

Community Representatives can nominate an alternative to go in their place to a CLC meeting if they are not able to attend themselves, providing the Chair is notified. Ben Attard attended this first meeting in place of Mark George so is pictured with the rest of the group at the site. Vince Azzopardi was an apology.

If you have any questions about the CLC, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Community Liaison Team via [email protected] or on 0412 586 833
